Members of the armed forces receive, on the third Thursday of each month, a 20 percent discount off almost all items with a valid military identification, US. Department of Veterans Affairs-issued card, or verification of service. The service member discount is a continuation of Shoe Station’s long-standing military outreach effort. In 2017, the independent retailer announced a push to ensure that twenty percent of its workforce is comprised of U.S. military veterans or reserves by 2020. Shoe Station’s product selection is varied enough for the tastes of any service member and includes men’s, women’s, and athletic shoes. The promotion, which includes some product exclusions and restrictions, covers purchases that members of the armed forces make for their families. Read More
